Section 03

Admissions
Are Open.

From first enquiry to first practical session — here is exactly how joining CITM works, what to bring, and who to call.

Sec 01 — The Process

Five steps,
start to bench.

Admission at CITM is deliberately simple. Most students go from first call to first practical session inside a week.

Step 01

Enquire

Call the campus nearest to you or send the enquiry form. Tell us which programme interests you.

Step 02

Counselling

A faculty member walks you through the syllabus, the lab work involved and where the trade leads.

Step 03

Documents

Submit your identification, academic records and photographs to confirm eligibility.

Step 04

Enrol

Complete admission formalities, confirm your batch timing and collect your course material.

Step 05

Train

Begin practical training on live equipment, supported through to certification and placement.

What to bring

  • Proof of identity. Aadhaar card or any government-issued photo identification.
  • Academic records. Marks cards and transfer or school-leaving certificate, as applicable to the programme.
  • Photographs. Recent passport-size photographs for enrolment records and the student identity card.
  • Address proof. Any current document showing your residential address.

Good to know

  • Eligibility varies by programme. Some trades need a specific academic background; the campus will confirm yours.
  • Batches are kept small. Practical training only works when every student gets bench time.
  • Three campuses, one standard. Pick whichever of Mangalore, Moodubidri or Udupi is easiest to reach.
  • Placement assistance is included. Interview preparation and employer introductions come with the course.

Sec 02 — Enquiry

Send your details.
We will call you back.

Fill this in and it goes straight to the admissions desk on WhatsApp — no account needed, no waiting on a form to be read.

Sending opens WhatsApp with your details filled in, addressed to the Mangalore admissions desk. Prefer e-mail? Write to costalinetitute@gmail.com.

Your enquiry is ready to send in WhatsApp. If nothing opened, please call the campus directly — the numbers are on the Contact page.

Sec 03 — Questions

Before you apply

Thirteen programmes across safety, technology, engineering trades, design, education, aviation, hospitality and logistics — offered as Diploma and ITI courses. The full list, with what each one covers, is on the Courses page.

It means students spend their time on equipment rather than only in front of a whiteboard. Workshops, automation panels, studios and labs are part of the regular timetable, not an occasional demonstration.

Yes. Placement assistance is part of every programme — interview preparation, resume guidance and introductions to employers hiring in the region. Speak with the campus for details relevant to your course.

CITM runs campuses at Mangalore, Moodubidri and Udupi. Choose whichever is easiest for you to attend, then call that campus directly — the numbers are on the Contact page.

Eligibility, batch timings, duration and fees differ by programme. The campus team will confirm the current details for the course you are interested in — call them or send an enquiry and they will get back to you.

Send the enquiry form on this page, or call the campus nearest to you. A counsellor will explain the programme, confirm eligibility and guide you through enrolment.
